Welcome to the Pensacola School of Liberal Arts (SoLA), where we believe that a well-rounded education is essential for success in life. For over 50 years, SoLA has been dedicated to providing students with an exceptional education that prepares them for success in college and beyond. As one of the only non-sectarian high schools in the Pensacola region, we aim to build a safe space for a diverse and inclusive community of learners.
Our intentionally small school fosters a close-knit community where students take ownership of their education and are encouraged to explore their passions. Our dedicated teachers and staff are committed to lifelong learning and work to provide our students with the tools they need to achieve their goals.
If you are interested in experiencing our unique program and school culture firsthand, please don't hesitate to give us a call to schedule a visit. We would be delighted to welcome you to our campus and show you everything that makes SoLA such a special place to learn and grow.
We have always valued and emphasized our founding principal's vision of "the student becomes the teacher." Our goal is to offer a student-centered program, where mutual respect is valued and practiced by students and teachers alike, and each member actively participates in the learning process.
Our school day is designed for deeper learning through a block schedule of four eight-week units with only one to two classes at a time. We put an emphasis on creativity within a structure that has been proven to have a positive impact on social, emotional, and intellectual development.
